Provide technical assistance to help residents, businesses, and the agricultural community grow woody perennial crops that help conserve water, store carbon, and provide other ecosystem services.
(“Woody perennials” include all trees and shrubs, plus vines like grapes and kiwis, and even shrubby perennial herbs such as rosemary and lavender in some classifications. Sometimes those are considered semi-woody.)
