G6.5 Legislative agenda
Prioritize climate change in the municipality’s legislative agenda each year. Instruct municipal lobbyist to track and report on climate bills, and to advocate for those bills that will help reduce local emissions.
Here’s a summary of the climate legislation in the 2019 session which might have been usefully supported by local jurisdictions. (I tracked the climate bills in the Legislature the last two sessions at waclimateleg.info, and intend to do that for the 2021 session.)
