Provide education and incentives (grants, loans, technical assistance) to support manure management to reduce methane and nitrous oxide emissions, such as covered manure storage facilities, manure application practices.

Provide education and incentives to manage fertilizer use to reduce nitrous oxide emissions.
A1.3 Waste-to-energy
Investigate opportunities for small-scale energy production, such as capture and combustion of methane, anaerobic digestion, biofuel and biogas production.
A1.4 Water use
Create/provide incentives to install more efficient irrigation systems.
A1.5 Sustainability audits
Incorporate sustainability audits into conservation/farm plans to identify ways to reduce energy use and promote sustainable agriculture practices
